I am in charge of HLA typing facility provided by the Institute. My PhD project was on the genetics of Rheumatic heart disease. I am interested in the genetic profiling of various hematological disorders especially Leukemia and Aplastic anemia, so that it could help in early diagnosis and treatment.
Interests
1. Genetics of aplastic anemia
2. Establishment of foundation for aplastic anemia/other disorders that require bone marrow transplantation that provides all the require facilities including donor registry to patients/family.
